Do you decorate your tabletop for fall?
I love this arrangement with a combination of pumpkins, gourds, pomegranates and fall leaves. I do have a confession to make – it is not my fall centerpiece, it is my mother’s. When visiting the other day, I walked in and saw this beautiful arrangement and grabbed my cell phone to take a picture of it so I could share it with you.
You may be surprised at how simple this beautiful centerpiece is to make. All the items area available at your local grocery store, farmer’s market and backyard.
You can find a surprising variety of pumpkins at the regular grocery store, which is where the white pumpkin came from. Miniature pumpkins and gourds can also be found in the produce section of your supermarket.
The ‘goose-neck’ gourds came from my mother’s vegetable garden as did the larger gourds that she allowed to dry. Pomegranates add a rich rose color to the arrangement as do the autumn leaves.
Small mason jars filled with bare branches from the garden finish this lovely arrangement.
**To get started on creating your own fall centerpiece, stop by the produce section the next time you find yourself at the grocery store. Select produce with orange, white, tan and rose tones. In addition to the produce above artichokes, brightly-colored apples, winter squash, oranges, limes, walnuts, acorns and Indian corn can all be used to create your own unique centerpiece.

Come back for a visit on Tuesday, to see what I found in the produce section of my supermarket and how I arranged them in my own home!
