Do you have any garden art in your garden?
I have four favorite pieces in my garden that I would like to share with you…

This metal flower is made up of metal pieces from old cars. It is my most recent addition that I bought at a little art gallery called Van Gogh’s Ear in Prescott, AZ.

Another favorite piece of art in my garden, is my little bird made of river rock….

While I enjoy my pieces of garden art, above, I must admit that my favorite garden art is that made by my children…

My 12 year-old daughter made this sign for me for Mother’s Day and it guards the entry to one of my vegetable gardens.
I also love wind chimes and think they make a beautiful addition to the garden. While I have a large wind chime made from metal bars that makes beautiful sounds in the wind – my favorite wind chime makes no sound at all and was made by my 9 year-old daughter, Gracie…

It is made from tin cans and bottle caps and is by far, my favorite piece of garden art.
How about you? What are your favorite pieces of art in your garden?
We’d love to see them.
Please share them with us on our facebook page.

Couldn’t find the directions for making the cement leaf on pg. 11 in July 2012 issue. I went to the website and could not locate. Any ideas?
Here’s a link to the directions for the cement leaf birdbath: http://www.birdsandblooms.com/Backyard-Projects/Small-Garden-Projects/Leaf-Birdbath
Hi Marquita, I just made the cement leaf yesterday. Found it in Feb/March 2010 magazine. I have had the directions for a while and finally went and bought
the ingredients . Today I went out and turned it over and peeled back the leaf. It came out o.k. but I wish I had done
a better job of smoothing the cement out before it dried. You do see the veins and the shape and I guess this was my
test leaf. Will try again soon to make another….hope you have good luck with yours! Feel free to e-mail me and I will send you a pic of mine and we can compare notes. Thanks…. Linda
