It all started with a dream…Wouldn’t it be cool if we had our own Birds & Blooms video on YouTube?
Next, someone planted the seed…Wouldn’t it be fun to make the video while attending the festival, Biggest Week in American Birding?
After that, reality started to sink in…Uh-oh! This is really going to happen! We need a plan.
Then we did some negotiating…Please be in our video. We want real bird lovers like you. It’ll be awesome, we promise. You don’t have to be a good dancer.
And then, we realized we needed a professional editor…Hey talented people at Cornell Lab of Ornithology, will you help us?

I have store bought and hand made feeders.
We need to refill the feeders every day.

Hey, cool video – but you really need to credit the artists that wrote and recorded the song. Eels are one of my favorite bands! The song is titled “I Like Birds” from the album “Daisies of the Galaxy”, which is one of their best (IMO).
I love feeding birds at work and watching my peers excitement as they get to know my cheery feathered friends. The birds will peck at my windows if the feeders are empty. Our office is moving this month so I’ll miss them, but look forward to making lots of new ones, Thanks for all the new and exciting ways you have of keeping all of us bird-lovers informed. Godspeed.

I loved the video. I have many feeders and bird houses and the thing I enjoyed the most last week was watching
the Cedar Waxwings on our Cherry tree as they ate every last cherry. The ground is covered with pits!!!

What a awesome video!!! Thank you for bring laughter & smiles to my morning!! Looks like everyone is having a blast!! God love all bird lovers! I also love birds & blooms!! I have several flower beds as well as my garden. I have bird houses, feeders & humming bird feeders scattered throughout my yard. I think that the funniest of all birds is the Hummingbird!!! I love to watch them swirl about…they are comical!
