National Public Gardens Day – May 11, 2012

by Jill on May 5, 2012

Bok Tower Gardens in Central Florida has acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and a carillon that plays twice daily. Visit for free on May 11, 2012.

Friday, May 11, 2012 is National Public Gardens Day, and to celebrate, select public and botanical gardens around the country are offering free admission on that day. This is your chance to visit places like Alabama’s Huntsville Botanical Garden, Georgia’s Callaway Gardens, Connecticut’s The Fells Historic Estate and Gardens, California’s Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, and many more. What a great way to kick off Mother’s Day weekend!
